Interested in learning about the basics of birds and bird watching? In this course, you will learn about birding tools and techniques, and gain the skills necessary to identify birds. Focused on bird physiology and key features, the series is setup to help teach you the foundational skills to use in the field in order to identify birds. Whether you’ve birded before or are new to bird watching, join us to explore these incredible animals.
During the Field Day you will utilize the knowledge synthesized during the Birding Series and head onto the trail to put your skills into action.

Participants will need appropriate clothing, Journal and writing utensil for the field day.
NOT REQUIRED: Binoculars, and field guides (this will be avialable that day but you are welcome to bring your own if you want).
You are welcome to attend the Field Day if you have attended ANY of the Birding Series classes.
