This course will detail the advantages and disadvantages of the main types of "Green Energy." There will be no hype or politics- - just the physical science and economics behind hydropower, geothermal, solar, wind, tidal and temperature gradient energy extraction, biofuels, and yes, nuclear. Some energy theory, basic analyses of various green energy modalities, and the experience of installing a residential solar system will be presented.

William Dietsch
William Dietsch has been a science educator for 46 years at high school and college levels. He holds BS and MS degrees from Montclair State University and a PhD from Atlantic International University. He has received numerous study and research grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, the Department of Energy, and the National Endowment for the Humanities.
