The primary purpose of this course is to develop learners’ knowledge and skills of metal fabrication and effective agricultural systems technology instruction.
Upon successful completion of this course, learners will be able to:
· Apply safety principles to operate equipment, machinery and power units used in metal fabrication.
· Analyze a situation and determine the best welding and cutting process to be used in metal fabrication.
· Construct and/or repair metal structures and equipment using metal fabrication procedures.
· Evaluate and troubleshoot the metal fabrication process.
· Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging project-based laboratory activities.
