Since 2004, this group has held lively discussions of provocative books from around the world, including classic and contemporary literary fiction, timely nonfiction, and occasional works of epic poetry and drama.

February 7, A Swim in a Pond in the Rain: In Which Four Russians Give a Master Class on Writing, Reading and Life, George Saunders (~410 pp): American, originally published in 2021. The group will read selections.
March 14, The Hired Man, Aminatta Forna (~293 pp): Scottish-Sierra Leonean, originally published in 2013
April 4, Kindred, Octavia Butler (264 pp): American, originally published in 1979
May 2, Hamnet, Maggie O'Farrell (305 pp): British-Irish, originally published in 2020
June 13, Pedro Páramo, Juan Rulfo (124 pp): Mexican, originally published in 1955
