For more than 15 years, ROC Wheels has worked to ensure that people in impoverished and developing countries can have access to mobility devices. They design, develop, and fit each chair to each person they work with, and teach communities about disabilities, entrepreneurship, empowerment, and more. They also network with other organizations to provide more services to people in need. ROC Wheels embraces a passion for helping people gain independence, interact with their peers, and become more active members of their community.
- Participants will tour and learn about ROC Wheels' business and even help build a wheelchair!
- Comfortable attire and footwear are recommended.
- Registration is required and space is limited to 18 people.
