Designed to serve Montana teachers in districts with demonstrated teacher shortages, CEEX 280 706 is a unique course for those who have obtained a plan of study from Montana State University/Bozeman, have been accepted into the BPE internship or been granted Class 5 licensure, and who are currently teaching in non-certified content areas under the supervision of MSU. Taken each semester of internship, CEEX 280 provides a connection between these interns and MSU; it is designed to answer general questions as well as to provide support for professional development through targeted CEEX 280 assignments. As part of CEEX 280 706, intern performance is assessed each semester by MSU-assigned field supervisors (generally, the building administrator)-formatively through each of the initial semesters (up to five) and summatively, via the final assessment given during the intern's last semester.
