Sorry, the signup deadline has passed.
The goal of this online CE offering is to provide high school biology teachers easy access to supplemental training opportunities and resources to encourage them to introduce a short module on Neuroscience and neuroscience research into their regular course curriculum. This will include online lectures for teachers intended to provide basic training (or refreshing) on how neurons operate, how the brain is organized, how the brain extracts critical information from sensory inputs, as well as information on resources for classroom activities. Development of this course is funded by a grant from the National Science Foundation (EPSCoR #1632738: "Neural Basis of Attention") supporting collaborative STEM research and community outreach in the areas of vision and visual attention.
If you have a need and would like to apply to have the cost of the course waived, email Professor Kelsey Clark at kelsey.clark@gmail.com.

Kelsey Clark
Dr. Clark received her PhD in Neuroscience from Stanford University, where she studied the interactions between spatial and object working memory. She moved to Bozeman in 2013 to work at Montana State University. Her current research focuses on the role of the prefrontal cortex in attention and working memory, and how goals can bias our perception of the world. She has been teaching at MSU since 2017, and performs research through the University of Utah. When she's not thinking about the brain, you can find her playing roller derby or mountain biking (always with a helmet!).Date | Day | Time | Location |
