Charles Kankelborg

Professor Charles Kankelborg has been building instruments and observing the Sun from rockets and satellites for the past 30 years to unravel the mysteries of the hot, magnetized solar atmosphere. He is the principal investigator of the FURST sounding rocket mission and a co-investigator for two NASA Explorer class satellite missions. He enjoys mentoring young scientists and sharing science with the public.
