Description
Tour MSU's Towne's Harvest Garden farm and learn about their many vegetable crops. Staff and students will explain their organic growing process from start to finish and discuss some of the farm's educational programs. At the end of the tour, there will be an opportunity to purchase vegetables.
Registration is required and space is limited to 40 people.
Open only to members of OLLI at MSU or the MSU Retiree Association.
This program involves standing and walking for 30 minutes or longer on uneven terrain.
Course Takeaways
OLLI participants will learn about the involvement of MSU students and staff in growing and researching organic garden produce and programs such as Community Supported Agriculture at the Towne's Harvest Garden.

Madde Gnauck
Madde Gnauck is the farm manager at Towne's Harvest Garden. She graduated from MSU's sustainable food and bioenergy systems program. This is her second year managing Towne's, and she is very passionate about growing food for people and doing it in the most sustainable way possible.
