Description
Learn about economic issues facing Montana farmers and ranchers. This course will examine the impact of agricultural producers on the Montana economy, explore the relationship between agricultural producers and federal legislation (most importantly, the Farm Bill), discuss the current agricultural economic outlook, and consider agricultural innovations important to Montana's agricultural economy.

George Haynes
George Haynes is a retired professor and Extension Specialist in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Economics at Montana State University. His primary line of research is small business and agricultural finance, focusing on disasters and disaster assistance. His instructional responsibilities included delivering the Montana agricultural outlook, training low-resource agricultural producers and educating farmers and ranchers on agricultural policy issues.Date | Day | Time | Location |
