Description

The U.S. Supreme Court wraps up its 2024-25 term in early summer. Susan will explain some of the Court's more consequential decisions, including cases about transgender medical care for minors, regulation of ghost guns, racial gerrymandering, limits on environmental impact studies, and several religious rights cases. She will also discuss some of the Court's emergency docket decisions, including those about immigrant rights and the extent of the power of the President. The Court's actions will determine the precise cases discussed.

Program Takeaways

The goal of this non-partisan presentation is to help you understand, with respect to each case, what the Court decided, why it decided the way it did, and the possible consequences of the decision.
