Description
At this Taste of OLLI event, Steven Thorson, a beekeeper for over 20 years and the owner and founder of Montana Honey Bee Co., will discuss the honeybee and beekeeping industry, honey processing and the related effects on flavor and appearance. Participants will also learn about and taste different honey varietals.
This program is limited to 25 participants.
Program Takeaways
Participants will learn about the honeybee, the workings of the hive and the importance of pollination in our lives and across the globe. We will also learn about honey production, the honey industry and have an opportunity to sample honey varietals and products.
