Description
Join a moderated discussion with renowned local author and musician Amy Leach. As writer Aimee Nezhukumatahil states, "You'll revel in her intricate knowledge of moons and music and plants and animals and marvel at how she puts words and sentences together to create effervescent wordplay [that] delights and surprises on every page." Leach will read excerpts and interact with OLLI members with her "irrepressible sense of humor," as Christian Wiman describes.
The space is ADA-accessible and offers ample free parking and seating. No standing or uneven surfaces.
Space is limited to 80 people.

Amy Leach earned her MFA from the Nonfiction Writing Program at the University of Iowa. Her work has appeared in The Best American Essays, The Best American Science and Nature Writing, Granta, A Public Space, Orion and Tin House. She received a Whiting Writers' Award, a Rona Jaffe Foundation Award and a Pushcart Prize.
