The demand for electricity will increase rapidly in the foreseeable future. It is desirable for this increased demand for power generation to be met with emission-free, renewable-based sources. In this presentation, Hashem Hehrir, a research professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at MSU, will evaluate the potential of several different renewable energy resources for power generation including wind, solar photovoltaic and solar heat power generation. The opportunities and challenges associated with the use of these resources will be discussed.

**Registration for this event closes one hour prior to the event start time Unless otherwise noted.

Fee:   $0.00
