This 3-day Lead Inspector Initial?course meets EPA's training requirements for individuals who want to perform lead-based paint inspections and/or clearance examinations on abatement or home rehabilitation projects.?The course follows the EPA's standard curriculum for Lead Inspectors covering a wide range of subjects on lead paint, health and safety, laws and legislation, sampling techniques, and report writing.
After this course, students will need to apply directly to the EPA to become a Lead Inspector and take the EPA National Certification Exam. The class will be a mix of hands-on training, classroom instruction, and discussion.
Those wanting to also be Lead Paint Risk Assessors will need to also register for the Risk Assessor course happening April 20-21. Register for Risk Assessor here

Aaron Mugaas
Aaron brings deep and relevant experience to the team, with decades of service to the weatherization industry as both a crew member and auditor. He’s also spent time in private industry as a house builder and home inspector. Aaron’s training includes degrees in Biology, and study in Land Resources and Environmental Sciences.
