History professor James Meyer will discuss the history of Russia and Ukraine stretching back into the past and bringing us up to the present. This presentation will be part of Belgrade Community Library's One Book Belgrade Series, sponsored by Martel Construction.
Refreshments at 5:30 p.m.
This collaborative community event is presented by OLLI at MSU and the Belgrade Community Library, with sponsorship by Martel Construction, and is free and open to the public.
There is a 50-person registration cap. Advance registration is recommended but walk-ins are welcome.
James Meyer
James H. Meyer is an associate professor at Montana State University, where he works on the history of Russia and the Middle East. A frequent visitor to Russia, Meyer has spent approximately four years living and researching in the former Soviet Union. His second book, "Red Star over the Black Sea," was published by Oxford University Press in March 2023.
