Join professors Eric Funk and Michael Beehler for a deep dive into the music and words of Bob Dylan. Dylan-the-musician embodies the amazing richness of the American musical styles he absorbs and repurposes, while Dylan-the-poet reflects a deep knowledge of the Western literary tradition and a profound love of language. These qualities, together with an uncompromising sense of morality, form the basis of Dylan's unique talent.

Eric Funk is a composer and associate teaching professor in the School of Music at Montana State University. He is host and artistic director of Montana PBS-TV "11th & Grant with Eric Funk."

Michael Beehler

Michael Beehler is professor emeritus of English at Montana State University. He has published and lectured widely on literature of the 20th century, especially modern poetry.
