Description

Polish up your Nordic ski skills and join us for three lessons at Crosscut Mountain Sports Center, taught by a trained ski school professional. This program includes lessons, ski gear rental, and a day pass on lesson days. It is for advanced beginner to intermediate skiers.

Crosscut Mountain Sports Center offers some of Montana's best public-access groomed Nordic ski terrain. Their 45 kilometers of trails wind through 500 forested acres, providing unmatched winter recreation for all ages and abilities. Crosscut is located 17 miles north of Bozeman in the heart of the Bridger Range, adjacent to Bridger Bowl and the Custer-Gallatin National Forest.

Space is limited to 10 people.

Ski Level Required

This program is for those who have classic skied before, maybe several years ago, and need to refresh their skills to ski more efficiently and confidently on beginner and moderate terrain, uphill, downhill, and on the level. You must be able to put on your own ski gear and stand up from a sitting position on the snow.

Heidi finds joy and purpose in instructing Nordic skiers and mountain bikers of all ages at Crosscut Mountain Sports Center. She believes that working hard IS having fun - on wheels, on skis and in life. A natural leader and team builder, she balances an analytical mindset with a practical vision to make learning new things approachable and rewarding for her athletes and colleagues. Heidi is a certified PSIA Level 1 instructor, PMBIA Level 1 instructor, NICA Level 3 mountain bike coach, USSA Level 200 Nordic ski coach and race official. Inspired by Crosscut's vision, Heidi looks forward to sharing her enthusiasm with you!
