You will receive an automated email from MSU Outreach one business day before the start date with login instructions for the Brightspace (D2L) learning management system. Alison BrennanAlison Brennan is the Mental Health Extension Specialist with Montana State University Extension and an Assistant Professor in the MSU Department of Health and Human Development. She is a new Master Food Preserver volunteer and avid home preserver.
Katrin Finch is the Family and Consumer Science Agent for Montana State University Extension in Cascade County. She is a Master Food Preserver and has been leading food preservation classes in her community for multiple preservation seasons.
Brianna RouthBrianna Routh is the Food and Family Extension Specialist with Montana State University Extension and an Assistant Professor in the MSU Department of Health and Human Development. She is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, and has a Master's in Public Health Nutrition and a Ph.D. in Human Development and Family Studies. She has been leading research-based food preservation outreach and evaluation efforts in Montana since 2018.

This course is intended for those who have prior education and experience in food preserving. Prior courses completed should include at least one of Preserving@Home, Food Preservation 101 or other formal food preservation courses. If you have not completed any of these formal trainings but you have significant experience with food preservation, please contact Brianna Routh (firstname.lastname@example.org) for approval prior to registering.
