Gem Gallery owner Jason Baide will describe how custom jewelry is made in the 21st century and lead a tour of their goldsmithing studio on Main Street. See how traditional tools and techniques are paired with modern technology, such as CAD design and 3D printing, to create heirloom-quality jewelry.

Jason Baide
Jason Baide is a second-generation jeweler and owner of the Gem Gallery. Jason's design and goldsmithing abilities have been recognized with multiple awards, including the Saul Bell International Jewelry Award for Emerging Artist in 2016 and 2017 and the Professional Art Object in 2018. Jason works primarily as a custom designer and enjoys using traditional and innovative design processes ranging from traditional fabrication to CAD design and 3D printing.
