To register see below.Teachers and counselors are key to the future of technology. Join us at Gallatin College MSU June 14-16 to learn about IT, Drafting, and Photonics/Optics technology and the many opportunities and careers available to women right here in Montana!
Engage in three hands-on labs to learn more about the significance of each technology in everyday life, exciting real-world applications in local industries, and the variety of skills needed within these fields. Along the way, our expert instructors will share the many ways we can encourage and prepare female students for a workforce not traditionally dominated by women.
- Build and configure your new Raspberry Pi mini system,
- Experiment with the photonics science that allows the Raspberry Pi to communicate with other systems,
- Utilize a real-world drafting application to learn basic drafting techniques.
- Receive information and tips on how we can encourage the next generation of women in technology.
