If you are wondering, "Who will remember me when I am gone?" or "What do I want to say to those I love before leaving this world?" then this workshop is for you. In this four-week workshop, participants will discover the power of the Legacy Letter which is a written document of your values, experiences, and hard-earned life lessons. This letter can also express hopes, blessings, explanations, forgiveness, and gratitude.
Creating a Legacy Letter is based on a tradition dating back 3,500 years and is now helping to strengthen ties between generations. Legacy Letter writing can be done at any stage in life; however, those of us who have lived a lot of life are more apt to write them. This writing is a profound personal exercise and even more powerful for those receiving them. Writing about the intangible assets of your life is a way individuals can preserve who they are and what matters most to them. Legacy Letters are a way to be remembered and understood while significantly impacting loved ones. These letters become a touchstone to the past and an anchor for the future, and a most cherished keepsake.
The instructor, Jill Davis, has created a process for writing a Legacy Letter that is stress-free, engaging, easy, positive, and healing.
