Description

This program will not be recorded.

This course about America in the 60s will ask simple but complex questions like: Why did people rebel when they did? Who rebelled, and who didn't? What came out of the rebellion, and did it cause the rise of conservative politics in the U.S.? We will look at the Civil Rights Movement, Vietnam, the rise of feminism, the Green Movement, and the exit of the traditional unionized working class from the Republican Party. We will begin with "When did the 60s start, and when did they end?"
