Albert Einstein is one of the most well-known persons in history. Yet his contributions and personal history remain a mystery to most people. This course will explore Einstein's scientific contributions and highlight key features of his life, including his belief in a God who "doesn't play dice." The instructor designed this course for the non-science person; a background in science or mathematics is not necessary.

Gerry Wheeler
Gerry Wheeler received his B.S. from Boston University in science education and his Ph.D. from SUNY at Stony Brook in nuclear physics. He is the recipient of numerous awards for his teaching and mass-media work, including outstanding teaching awards from Temple University, the University of Hartford and Montana State University. Wheeler is a past president of the American Association of Physics Teachers and a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
