The OLLI at MSU Non-Fiction Book Discussion Group engages participants in stimulating discussions of a wide range of non-fiction titles. Members are welcome to attend any session of interest or all sessions; consistent attendance may enhance your experience but is not necessary. Listed below are the Fall 2024 books selected by a committee of OLLI non-fiction readers.
- January 20: The Road to Unfreedom by Timothy Snyder
- February 17: The Anxious Generation by Jonathan Haidt
- March 17: The City that Ate Itself by Bian Leech
- April 21: Plunder: Private Equity's Plan to Pillage America by Brendan Ballou
- May 19: Rough Sleepers: Dr. Jim O'Connell's Urgent Mission to Bring Healing to Homeless People by Tracy Kidder
Free and open to all OLLI at MSU members. Registration is required.
Members are welcome to attend all or select book discussion months. Obtaining books is the responsibility of each participant.
