Peaks & Potentials

Peaks and Potentials camp invites fifth- to seventh-grade students to the MSU campus for an exciting week of engaging workshops and fun, hands-on activities led by experts in a variety of special topics. Through academic, recreational and social activities, students connect with their peers while getting a sample of campus life.

Camp instructors and counselors are MSU faculty members, university students and experienced local professionals. Daily workshops focus on personalized instruction, small group interaction, and experiential learning that sparks curiosity and creativity. Popular workshops have included painting, outdoor survival skills, robotics with LEGO®s, and much more!

For even more adventure, campers can join optional evening activities such as hiking and s'mores at Hyalite Reservoir, swimming at the new MSU Wellness Center, and mini rocket launches on campus grounds.
