MSU Strategic Planning Listening Session with OLLI Members

We want to hear from you! Your voice matters, and this is your opportunity to help define the vision that will guide MSU for years to come.

Montana State University is developing a new strategic plan that will guide the university for years to come. This effort is more than planning—it’s an invitation for our entire community to imagine MSU's future. That includes OLLI at MSU!

OLLI members and instructors have been provided an opportunity to learn about the planning process, hear an update on the findings to date and most importantly, share your thoughts, visions, needs and insights with the MSU Strategic Planning team.

Your participation will provide the ideas that will be distilled into draft materials for campus review by early fall, with the final plan published in November 2026.

Questions MSU is looking to answer:

• What can MSU do better?
• How can MSU more firmly root itself and serve Montana?
• What is your one big idea (and/or small idea) for both MSU and OLLI at MSU’s future? This could be a project, program, or any other new initiative.
• Is there anything else that you would like to share to be considered in the development of MSU's next Strategic Plan?
