Robin Patten Robin Patten is a naturalist, teacher and writer. She travels extensively, always considering the natural heritage of the lands she walks through. When she's not traveling, she works from her home on the edge of Yellowstone Park. She holds a PhD in ecology, with further graduate studies in environmental history, literature, and cultural geography. Robin recently won the John Burroughs Nature Essay Award for The Carcass Chronicle, published in Fall 2018 by The Georgia Review.
